For more than two decades, Sonia has served as a trusted voice in broadcast journalism, known for translating complex health and science topics into clear, evidence-based stories. Her work has earned top honors from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters and built her reputation as a steady, truth-telling presence in an over-saturated media landscape.

Now, she channels that same clarity and credibility into the wellness world, teaching people how to meet life’s chaos with steadiness. Sonia is a certified Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider and a Level 2 CYT with the American Yoga Council. A lifelong student, Sonia has completed more than 1,600 hours of yoga and mindfulness training, with certifications in Tune Up Fitness®, Yin Yoga, and Meditation (RMT 200). Her continued studies in Reiki, Chinese Medicine, Neuroplasticity, Sound Healing, and Nutrition Science reflect her holistic approach to nervous-system regulation and self-directed healing.

Through classes, retreats, and corporate programs, Sonia helps people to subtract the noise — and return to center, five intentional minutes at a time.
